Nek Chand’s Rock Garden

This magnificent rock garden is the enduring legacy of Mr. Nek Chand, who collected rocks, debris, and junk from the area cleared for Chandigarh’s construction and turned it into spectacular sculptures. A jumble of scrap, including old bulbs, broken tea sets, bathroom sinks, bicycle frames, terracotta refuse, etc, have all come together to bring his unique vision alive. Set amid ornamental landscapes, and artistic courtyards & chambers, these amazing sculptures are a delight for the senses.

Sukhna Lake

An integral part of the planned city, Sukhna Lake is the recreational hotspot of Chandigarh. With Shivalik Hills looming in the background, and lush trees enveloping the landscape, this beautiful lake is a perfect place for a romantic walk. Go pedal boating on the lake, or enjoy a family picnic- it is fun all the way!

Zakir Hussain Rose Garden

Sprawled over an area of over 30 acres, this colorful rose garden is one of the largest in Asia. Around 1660 different varieties of roses grow here- creating a sea of colors, fragrance, and charm.
